Introduction to Website
Reading has always been a passion of mine. From the days my father read J.R.R Tolkien’s The Hobbit to me before bedtime to my years in the Montana Public Education System, books have ensconced my life. Though it was my father who began this fascination, ultimately it was my educators who crafted me into a skilled reader and writer. The inspiration and guidance I received from my teachers and counselors led me to pursue a career and a life dedicated to bringing the passion and desire I have for the written word to as many students as possible.
Throughout the year I will be using this website as a mode of connecting students and parents to the work we are doing inside the classroom. This will provide students with the ability to access homework and updates throughout the year, as well as providing an outlet for interesting and relevant information in regards to the world of English Language.
Parents - please use this to stay up-to-date with what we are doing in class and in communication with me. Email is the best way to get a hold of me, [email protected], and please state your student's name in the email subject line.
Students - take full advantage of the calendar, notes, homework reminders, and supplementary help.
I am looking forward to your active involvement in class throughout the year!
